Gaile, suggestion for /report feature
Sending support tickets takes quite a while to report anything that we can't use the /report feature for.
So could it be possible that maybe theirs another option that you select say "user has done something against eula" Then there could be a little text box that can hold say 500 chars or something and we type in exactly what they were doing?
Because I would report people who are spamming they want to buy accounts, selling cd keys etc. But the hassle of using the support tickets each time just takes quite a bit of time so I usually just forget about it.
It seems like having an all purpose against eula report and then being able to write a sentence or 2 describing what they were doing would result in more people willing to report than having to login to the site, fill out all the forms and submit it.
Sorry if this should be in sardelac but I was just hoping to get something across to gaile so she could let the team know this possibility.
Also, we should be able to highlight names in the party search to /report. Because most of the cd key sellers or whatever switch districts quickly and by the time I would go into district and invite them to party (to target them) they just map out because they know your reporting.

Eh, if they're saying they want to buy accounts, or keys, that's spamming in a sense. I'd just report it under that field, I'm sure A-Net reviews the chat logs and such.
I guess it'd be nice .. but prone to abuse, so I guess I'm 50/50, unless A-Net banned the abusers.
/Signed anyhow.

I check off "spamming" when I see account buyers/gold sellers. Since this very thing has been talked about before here in the forums, and I never see names I've reported this way again, I'm assuming that A-Net keeps an eye out on spamming reports for this kind of stuff.

I know I've seen Gaile say that they get /reports from players about gold-sellers, and that those accounts are actioned. I also use the /report when I see goldsellers, and check the "spam" box when I am in international, or wander into Great Temple of Balthazar with my local chat still on(*shudder*).

Last I checked, you can have both party search and your chat window open at the same time, so you can still type their name after /report.

/report can stop the gold market in 2 steps (at least)
1. /report the bot >>> bot banned >>> gold lost >>> success!
2. /report the seller >>> advertiser banned >>> less customers >>> partial success.

I reported a gold seller last night in Ascalon English 1. I also checked the spamming box, although it's wasn't so much spamming as just advertising every so often. It would be nice if there was a check-box for gold/account sellers so that they may form some sort of priority for reports.

It seems that the report list is mission this option.
Call it 'EULA breach', 'Out of the game behavior' or whatever.
It has been already suggested in the Wiki, and was one of the few suggestions answered by Gaile. It seems that she had already sent the suggestion to the dev team.
Of course, I find this usefull, since it's mission and it's a good option to add.
More that one player per account, gold selling, third program using, spamming physing pages, etc...
